2018 Kolb Vineyard (1.5L)
The Kolb Vineyard is a 2.5 acre vineyard nestled in the Dundee Hills and home to our friends Bill and Shelley Kolb. This dry farmed, all Pommard clone vineyard was planted almost 30 years ago and ranges from 410ft to 490ft in elevation. 2018 was our first vintage working with their gorgeous fruit. The wine leaps out of the glass with bright and intense red fruit. There is a strain of minerality running through it, giving it depth and character. The tannins are well-integrated but don't shy away as each sip prepares you for the next.

Pommard clone fruit from a three-acre vineyard brings a lush palate of strawberry, blood orange and Bing cherry fruit, amplified with bright acids. The lightness and subtlety bring layers of details as it slowly unwinds through the lingering finish.

Bright ruby-red. An expressive bouquet evokes ripe red fruit, incense and candied violet, and a building mineral flourish adds energetic lift. Finishes subtly tannic and with very good tenacity, leaving an echo of sappy red fruit behind.
